Top to Bottom

This whole outfit was thrifted !

As I promised a few posts ago I was going to show you guys how I wear and style the "dress shirt as a skirt" trend. The day I wore this outfit my dads plaid shirt was in the wash so I wore my other over sized dress shirt instead, I think it turned out pretty well :) Its really easy to wear, all you need is an over sized button down shirt and some creativity!
I am soo in love with these shoes ! I went thrifting with some friends the other day and I picked these up from a shop in Kensington market from only 25$ ! I was ecstatic when I found them cause I was in desperate need of new sneakers, and these were all beaten up and old looking which was an added plus. Your going to be seeing a lot more of these for sure.
I also recently got my new tattoo choker in mail which I order off of Etsy and  haven't taken it off since. It adds a punk rock, 90s element to any outfit you pair it with. and that's where my style seems to be now a days.
As for the top I thrifted it for 3$ at my local thrift shop, and I regret not finding it early in the year :( It would of been the perfect top to wear with either my disco pants or high- waisted jeans for the colder months. The thick velvet material plus the long sleeves make it hard to wear in the summer months. But I am going to take advantage of the cold mornings and wear it as much as possible cause its such an eclectic and unique piece to have as part of my wardrobe.

Hope you guys have a lovely day <3

The sun is finally shining !! Yesterday I had volunteer training so I wore this cute and comfortable outfit. This dress is one that I wore nonstop last year and plan on doing the same again this year. I love layering with dresses like this one because it's so versatile it can either be a skirt by layering a tank or a sweater on top or you can just wear it as a dress and belt it at the waist.
I paired this outfit with some simple and solid coloured outerwear pieces, so they wouldn't take away from the adorable pattern on the skirt. I love adding my jean vest to every outfit, whether it be on top of a sweater, cardigan or over my lather jacket I think it always added something different to an outfit.
Once again I layered on a bunch of bracelets and my three favorite necklaces. This time I added a little tea cup to the end of the longer one for a change.

Hope Everyone is enjoying there weekend!
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers!! <3

Better than the best you ever had

Paid Shirt- Dads
NY t-shirt- Junk Food at Urban Outfitters
Black Wedges- Kimchi Blue at Urban Outfitters
Highwaisted jeans- Thrifted from Value Village
Necklace- Urban Outfitters
Lipstick- Rimmel's Lasting finish lipstick in Bordeaux (124)

I am obsessed with with my dad's old plaid shirt! I wear it all the time and it goes with most of the pieces in my wardrobe. I've worn it buttoned up, opened over other tops and even as a skirt. I am going to do a post soon on how I styled the plaid shirt as a skirt.
The T-shirt is also something I've been wearing a lot recently. When I first saw it I thought it was just a New York t-shirt, which to me was cool on its own, but then when I tried it on I noticed the back and I fell in love all over again. I think is super awesome! The letters seem like there hand painted on, and it all distressed around the collar and bottom, which makes it look more grungy and old.
I paired this look with my black wedges. I'm really liking the way heels look with baggy pants and more manlier pieces.

p.s: Sorry that the lighting in these pictures is pretty dark, the natural light outside wasn't the greatest. I am planning on getting a new camera soon so hopefully the picture quality will be better :)

Hope you enjoy your week!

Cardigan- H&M
Necklaces- Thrifted
Bracelet and Watch- Ardene
Headband- DIY

This was taken a while back but I never got around to posting it up because I already posted an outfit with this skirt and didn't want to be to repetitive. But here it is now :)
This skirt is my go to skirt. I wear it all the time, I`m surprised I haven`t gotten sick of it yet! Its the perfect length and light weight so its good for any time of the year. It was actually snowing the day I  wore this outfit to school.
The dark grey crop top is a staple in my wardrobe! I pair it with absolutely anything and everything. It`s short sleeved and really comfortable. I think crop tops are super versatile especially for the summer!

My new favorite thing at the moment to do with my accessories to to layer them. When layering with my necklaces I always reach for these three. Their all the same dirty silver colour so they go well together and there also all of different lengths, so you see each one when layering which is perfect. The first two were thrifted and the longest one is just a random chain I found at home and I added two rings to the end as pendents.

As always I hope you have an awesome weekend!
